Orins last night (sucks)

What it looks like before zach kicks your ass, or essak esskating across scumside bridge, or us on our way downtown on a cruzer board mission late sunday night after shredding the plaid pantry parking lot.
her we have dudes in the waterfront park. Travis, Johnny, Orrin, Zach and myself. Orin's last night here in portland so we celebrated by cruiser boarding around (fun), drinking in the park (fun) and finally getting doughnuts at voodoo (fun).

I got no pictures from Chucks 30th birthday, but it was a really good time. I met a fine lady and hopefully she will call me back (doubtfull). Plus Chucks mom and grandma are awesome, and his homey Ben was cool. It was good.

all things point to shit.

Now this happened a while ago but i was looking through my pictures and, if you can see the humor in this shittiness, this one suits my day perfectly. Here is what you are looking at...

foreground - a nice little fern next to the steps leading to my backyard with some shitty toilet paper underneath it.

middle ground - bum shit

background - the door to my laundry room

I actually just started to really look at this photo and if you'll allow me to toot my own horn for a minute, it is a compositionally superb photo. look how all things point to shit. leaves, shadows, steps... every line in this picture points to the shit. Its brilliant, this is what they strive to teach you in art school. you cant teach it though, you cant learn it, it just happens. technically it isnt perfect because the shit isnt in focus, the end of the steps are but never mind that. I cant stop looking at it, I am really proud and I say with no sarcasm that I think this is the best picture I've ever taken. I mean, click on it, take a really good look and tell me it isn't ART.

anyway, my original idea was to bitch about when people at work who come in for shift change, people you work with, but don't, and say things like, "hows it goin? livin the dream?" or "another day in paradise huh?" I hate that. but whatever.

The "rose city rollers" girls all just skated by my house, I wish I got a picture. google it.

8 to 0 connector

Today I woke up at 6, hard boiled 5 eggs, spent 4 hours on the computer, sent Resumes to 3 different places, did 2 loads of laundry and cleaned 1 entire apartment. not particularly in that order. Hell of a day off. I also went to the park, you know what is boring... pushing your kid on a swing for longer than 4 minutes. it just is. You know what sucks? pushing your kid on a swing for like 2 hours straight.

On a shittier note, 2 days ago a man in a ford explorer backed into and knocked over my motorcycle in front of the post office. This was like the fourth time I have been able to take it out. The left clipon was broken off along with some other parts. thankfully he stuck around and it sounds like his insurance is going to take care of it. I need to go and get an estimate and fax it to them. fun.

I am working tomorrow but have saturday off, saturday is Chucks 30th birthday, should be fun. Ill try and take pictures.

yesterday she looked at me, held out her water bottle and said "hold it daddy" it was crazy. Today she chased kids around at the playground trying to kiss them.

ish-esque

Got to go to the skatepark today, perfect weather again. I Skated well. this is the newest portland park. Ed benedict park. Plaza-ish totally street oriented, Its the 17 year old me's dream park. Marble benches, 2 stair, 3 stair, a 5 stair and a Big 3 (which I kickflipped) etc. cool place. plus on the way there was a grand opening of a new 'Bertos-esque mexican food place and everything was half price. Perfect.

I also tied up some more loose ends on the Hawk and rode it home. Motorcycles are fun.

It works!

Today I got the Hawk back onto the road! so excited. I still need to button a bunch of stuff up but I rode it and it was gooooood. The weather was perfect today and it should be nice all weekend.

here are my two faded hondas.
