sorry I forgot your birthday mom!

Hey, for those who are wondering why I haven't blogged for a few days (mom) here is whats been going on. for the past few days I haven't got a single picture, that's usually when I post a new blog. But i have a minute now because Dylan is napping, don't worry she doesn't have the swine flu.

My work schedule changed so now I have thu, fri and sat off, which is awesome, but i just worked 7 days in a row because of the switch. On top of that I'm gonna need to find someone new to watch Dylan because my current babysitter is moving away. Plus I need to mess with my car and fix my motorcycle and get new strings for my guitar and turn in my food stamp update and get Dylan's medical records and fax them to her new doctor and go to the dentist every week because my tooth aches and clean my apartment every 10 minutes because i live with a 2 year old, etc etc etc. Plus I would really like to find a "career" and also have a little time for art and a lot of time for skateboarding and drinking beer.

that's what I've been up to lately. I'll be taking more pictures now, I got a few days off of work.

Yesterday Me, Perro, Zach and Anthony took a little trip to the Hood River Skatepark, Its about an hour drive east, had a great time hurting myself allover so I didnt get any pics of the park, the place is a blast though. We did stop on on the way back at this cool spot and hiked around a little. I got a few shots of the Columbia river. The whole drive is along the columbia river gorge and very pretty, the pics I got are pretty crappy so ill only throw one up.

doughnuts

my kid is back, this morning we got doughnuts and coffee. Later on we went to the playground for a little while, she climbed up a 10 foot slide on her own, it scared the shit out of me, i was nervous as hell, it was a weird feeling. she is definitely danis daughter, thats for sure.

not working is fun

Good couple of days off, pretty productive. I got a few pics but my camera is finally on its last leg, im gonna need a new one soon. here is a little front slasher at holly farm. Its a tiny skatepark that is nearly always empty, me and orin, zach and perro had a good session. this was today.
finished my cruiser bike yesterday, here it is almost done, its finished now but i dont have any pictures of it completed. you can get a good idea of how awesome it came out anyway.

This is one of chucks dart frogs, he breeds them in his room and they are awesome. this guys was in the most perfect spot and I went to take a picture of him and my camera started to act up so I didnt get the money shot.
tomorrow the good life continues, I should get my motorcycle on the road this week. ill keep you updated.

Booze for Dylan

Today after work I bought Dylan some wine for when she turns 21, the wine guy said these would be awesome i 20 years as long as I keep them around 60 degrees... anyone have a wine cellar? 90 bucks for both, he sounded like he knew what he was talking about so hopefully he wasnt full of it. I guess ill find out July the fifth two thousand and twenty eight, holly crap!. I want to drink them both right now.

Nice Day Today

Just got home from work and wow is i beautiful today, here is a pic I took on my way home from work. That is a view of downtown from just across the river, the bridge on the left is Burnside bridge and you can see all the cherry blossoms blooming at the park along the west side of the river to the right. I live right off of Burnside and SE 16th ave, this picture was taken from the east entrance to the Steele bridge so if you want to you can google map that shit and get a good idea of the grand scheme.

On another note, Im not on the new schedule at the pizza place so i think they must have caught my vibes. Im glad because it is supposed to be perfect tomorrow and I want to go skate instead of working from 8 am till 10 pm. maybe Ill have some skate pics for ya tomorrow. Bye.

Home run

Im going to try and post something here everyday. I worked 10 hours straight today so I dont have much to report. My newer job is starting to REALLY pick up as far as business so i think im gonna quit the pizza job. I only work there once a week anyway so it isnt a big deal. Good news though, spring is officialy here in Portland, it is 62 right now, its supposed to be sunny all week and it should hit 70 on monday, feels great. I gotta get my motorcycle on the road!

speaking of transportation... Im putting together a little "cruiser/convenience store/friend in town" bike... here is a photo of it as it sits. I'll keep you posted on the progress.

In other transportation news, my new civic failed emissions! shit, gotta figure that out now.

NEW WHIP

The new car, picked it up yesterday for 1k, runs great, fun to drive, need some work. alignment, speedo doesnt work, body is ruff and paint is DULL, but most importantly it needs to pass emissions so i can register it. cross your fingers.
